Powerwall 1 -
The initial Powerwall offering which came about in 2015 it has a capacity of 7kW (moved to 10kW)
Powerwall 2
Initially coming out in 2016 it had a much larger 13.5kW with an initial offering of 5kW of continuous power
Powerwall +
One of the more modern offerings now considered. Again it offers 13.5kW but a higher maximum power output offering(with a peak of 22kW)
Powerwall 3
The latest offering. Whilst this has the same capacity, it has a marked increase on its power output offering.
Increased Power Capacity: Delivers a continuous power output of 11.5 kW, more than double the 5 kW continuous output of the Powerwall 2. This substantial increase allows a single unit to handle high-demand appliances, such as air conditioners and dryers, effectively meeting the energy needs of most homes.
Integrated Solar Inverter: Features a built-in solar inverter, simplifying the installation process by allowing direct connection of solar panels. This integration enhances overall system efficiency and reduces the need for additional components.
Scalability: Supports the addition of up to three expansion units per single Powerwall, enabling homeowners to increase their system's energy capacity without the need for multiple full units. This modular approach offers flexibility to adapt to changing energy requirements.
